Can I just get two pairs of twin XL sheets?
If you purchase two pairs of twin XL sheets, you’ll get (in total):

While you can use two pairs of twin XL sheets on your split king bed, most people prefer having one large flat sheet. Throw a king comforter or duvet on top, and you’ll have the option to still cuddle up close with your partner, if you’d like!
Can I just use regular king sheets on a split king?
Same idea here—you certainly can if you’d like. Keep in mind, however, that with one fitted sheet spanning the two mattresses, you won’t be able to elevate one side at a time. Will split king sheets fit a king bed?
